BRPF’s goal is to find a cure for paralysis through funding the latest in medical research and to provide assistance to those that suffer from neurological disorders. This research not only benefits spinal cord injuries but also stroke victims, people diagnosed with ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other neurological disorders. Equally important, the BRPF provides scholarships to individuals suffering from paralysis or families with a parent dealing with a neurological disorder.
NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services and treatment and supports research. It is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community for hope for all of those in need.
Kids’ Chance of America was established for the purpose of creating, assisting, and supporting Kids’ Chance organizations throughout the United States and other similar programs that provide educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously or fatally injury on the job.
